Server Error (500 Internal Server Error) is an error that is encountered often while working with wordpress and elementor. It prevents the designer from saving his content which can be very annoying. One of the reasons for this error is as a result of outdated PHP Version of a website’s hosting. Below I will show you several options of getting this issue resolved.

Option 1

There are several ways of fixing this problem but the easiest way I have found which is what I make use of all the time is to duplicate the page and rename it. After renaming the page, I go ahead to continue my editing in the new page and adding the new page to the website’s menu and every other relevant link. This way, the page builder no longer remembers the url of the old page which has the error issue, thereby enabling me to continue with my work.

Awesome and works all the time.

Option 2

Another reason why this error occurs is probably because the PHP Version of your website’s hosting is outdated. To fix this, go to your hosting’s cpanel, search for MultiPHP Manger, select the domain you are working on and upgrade its PHP Version to the most recent version and save. Once this is done, you stand a very high chance of resolving this error issue.
